Monthly Spinal Cord Injury Support and Information Group

Join the monthly Spinal Cord Injury Support and Information Group, which takes place the 3rd Thursday of each month. This is not a therapy group but rather an opportunity to share stories and experiences, ask questions and get real-life answers. You can also just listen to fellow members of the spinal cord injury community.

UW Medical Center Spinal Cord Injury Forum Schedule for 2009/2010:

Each month, the UW Medical Center holds a SCI Forum. These are evening educational programs (ususally from 7:00-8:30 p.m.) for people with SCI and their friends, family members and caregivers. The forums provide current information on a variety of topics relevant to the SCI community.

Drop-in Wheelchair Events:

The Highland Community Center in Bellevue, WA has Wheelchair Basketball on Wednesdays 7-9 pm (Sept. 24th - Dec. 17th) and Quad Rugby the first two Saturdays of each month from noon-3pm (Sept. 27th - Dec. 20th). Cost is $2.50 for residents, $3.00 for non residents. 18 years and older.
