Greetings,
Welcome to our first newsletter of 2010. We hope you and your family
greatly enjoyed the holiday season. As typically happens after that
holiday lull, January has been a very busy month. Everyone is renewed
and ready to start the year off right.
2010 marks Pushing Boundaries 5th
year serving the community. We could not be more pleased or grateful
for all your support over the years.

Participate With Us in Two Exciting February
Fundraisers!
|
|
|
Pushing Boundaries is partnering with the Bellevue lululemon
athletica for a February month long community challenge event and
culminating day of fitness and yoga classes to raise awareness and
financial support for Pushing Boundaries!
Walk A Mile In My Shoes
From February 1st - 27th challenge participants will be able to earn
mileage by walking, running, hiking or snowshoeing. Contestants will
keep track of their miles and inspire friends and family members to
match their miles for tax deductible donations that will support
Pushing Boundaries. There is a $20 fee to participate in Walk A
Mile In My Shoes. Click here to register.
Move Me
The month long challenge will be concluded by a Move Me day of
fitness and yoga classes. The day-long event will include
presentations and inspirational testimonials from Pushing Boundaries
clients. Move Me will be held at the beautiful Bellevue Club from 9
a.m. - 2 p.m. on February 27, 2010. $50 minimum donation to
participate - $30 if you participated in the challenge. To register
for Move Me click here.
All proceeds from the events will support the exercise therapy
programs provided by Pushing Boundaries to people living with
paralysis. Both events are open to the public so sign up today and
get started! Our goal is to raise $10,000.

Accomplishments!

I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple
Sclerosis the 1st week of January 1994. For the next nine
years you would have never known I had MS by just looking at me. I
started to use the cane I have now after a huge relapse in March of
2006 that left damage done to my nervous system and the communication
to my legs in order to walk.
Immediately after returning from a stem cell transplant
in Athens, Greece, I started coming to Pushing Boundaries in
October 2009. Last week I walked 30 steps without the assistance of a
cane!...To read more click here.

in!
We would like to thank Pattison General Contractor's for
donating their construction services.
Come experience
Pushing Boundaries in person to see all the exciting changes! Bring a
friend and learn about our therapy program, the new Paralysis
Resource and Support Center, and the lives we touch. RSVP by clicking
